Dr. Lord received her M.D. from the University of Maryland and her J.D. from Georgetown University. In theearly 1980's Dr. Lord worked as Assistant Director at Abbott Laboratories where she supervised the clinical studies for, and the writing of, a New Drug Application for a benzodiazepine hypnotic (ProSom -now approved). After leaving Abbott in 1983, Dr. Lord worked as a consultant and expert witness in pharmaceutical products' liability, pharmaceutical development, toxicology, and medical malpractice involving drugs. The focus of her work was the teratologic effects of pharmaceuticals, including oral contraceptives on developing embryo and fetus. Lord's analyses were based upon a thorough understanding of appropriate standards in clinical trials, statistical issues, adverse reactions reporting, and concomitant medications.
Dr. Znoyko received his M.D. from Moscow Medical Institute in 1981. In 1984 he finished residency in Endocrinology at the Moscow Medical Institute and Moscow City Hospital No. 52. In 1996 he received his PhD. in Developmental Biology from the Russian Academy of Sciences, Moscow. From 2003 to 2004 Znoyko was a postdoctoral fellow in Cellular Biology and Anatomy at the Medical University of South Carolina. From 1999 to 2003 he was a postdoctoral fellow in Ophthalmology at the Storm Eye Institute, Medical University of South Carolina.
Educated in Mexico as a trained physician and surgeon, Dr. Schramm has operated a successful surgical center (Hesig Hospital) in Baja California since the 1980's. He is also a trained researcher in genetics with particular focus in cancer research and clinical efficacy. He is a well-respected clinician and international lecturer on allograft, autologus, and xenograft transplantation. Dr. Schramm is a former Medical Director of several public and private hospitals and medical clinics, and a former Medical Director of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Hospital General Tijuana. Dr. Schramm will primarily oversee all stem cell transplantation activities at our clinic in Tijuana.
